Linda Jacksta, Senior Advisor
Linda Jacksta brings 35 years of experience working at U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP), the country’s primary border control organization and the largest federal law enforcement agency in the Federal Government.
During her time with CBP, Linda led efforts to address border security threats and operational challenges, established an agency level enterprise data analytics organization, enhanced partnerships with the intelligence community, spearheaded human capital reforms, and implemented multi-billon technology systems.
Linda most recently served as the Deputy Executive Assistant Commissioner for Operations Support providing leadership and direction over CBP’s intelligence, forensics, incident management, planning, and international affairs functions. Prior to that, Linda was the Assistant Commissioner and Chief Human Capital Officer for over 60,000 employees, where she led sweeping changes to the organization’s hiring, recruitment, and discipline processes. She also established the National Resiliency Task Force, and the National Recruitment Command – the first of their kind for CBP. Linda also served as the Acting Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Internal Affairs, where she oversaw employee misconduct investigations and operations security.
Other notable roles include serving as the Executive Director for the Cargo Systems Program Office leading the modernization of CBP’s multi-billion-dollar import/export system. Additionally, Linda served as an Executive Director within the Office of Field Operations, where she led efforts to provide critical support for the largest component within CBP, including the management of a $4 billion budget.
Over the years, Linda has built extensive partnerships working closely with other government agencies, U.S. Congress, international partners, and other stakeholders. Linda has vast expertise covering border security and national security, international trade, human capital and information technology, among other areas. She is a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Rank Award, Meritorious Executive, for her significant leadership contributions to the Federal Government.
