Kelli Ann Burriesci, Senior Advisor
Kelli Ann Burriesci is an accomplished executive with over two decades of leadership spanning the U.S. government (to include DHS, FBI, FEMA, FPS, GAO and TSA) and private sector consulting. She is a recognized expert in security, strategy, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven record of leading complex organizations and initiatives.
During her federal career, Ms. Burriesci led large-scale initiatives spanning trusted identity systems, screening and vetting programs and emerging technologies. Her work helped protect critical infrastructure and enhance its resilience, facilitate secure travel and commerce, and strengthen partnerships among government, industry, and international stakeholders.
She has overseen significant national programs including TSA PreCheck®, TWIC, Counter- Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS), the Visa Waiver Program, REAL ID, and CFIUS, among other programs, while also supporting DHS efforts to address fentanyl trafficking, child exploitation, and transnational organized crime.
Known for building strong public-private partnerships, Ms. Burriesci has worked closely with industry leaders to address a wide range of challenges, including insider threats, cyber incidents, and the risks and opportunities presented by emerging technologies.
Ms. Burriesci is a recipient of the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service, one of the highest honors bestowed upon federal executives. She is a graduate of Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where she earned her M.P.A., and holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University (SUNY).
