Harri Hursti,
Senior Advisor
Harri Hursti is a Senior Advisor at CGA. He is the Co-Founder of Nordic Innovation Labs, where he leads efforts to solve complex security and critical system challenges.
Mr. Hursti is internationally recognized as a leading expert in cybersecurity and electronic voting security, having conducted major vulnerability studies for government officials and policymakers across five countries, including the U.S. federal and state governments.
Mr. Hursti is widely known for the “Hursti Hacks,” in which he successfully demonstrated vulnerabilities in Diebold voting machines, significantly influencing election security awareness. His critical infrastructure work includes a DHS-organized cybersecurity simulation, where he served as COO of a fictional $53 billion company under cyberattack.
For his contributions to data security and privacy, Mr. Hursti has been honored with the EFF Winston Smith Award and the EFF Pioneer Award.
